Paul Hume


Paul is a gifted osteopathic professional with 30 years of practical experience in New Zealand. He trained in New Zealand, is an international member of the American Academy of Osteopathy and attends seminars and conferences in the US each year. Paul has an exceptional gift in sensing past connective tissue injuries that contribute to chronic pain. He uses advanced Balanced Ligamentous Strain and Myofascial release techniques for these much to the joy of his patients. He is very skilled at treating newborns and toddlers for the effects of birth and injuries from falls with Cranial Osteopathy. He uses Visceral Manipulation to treat attachments of the internal organs with outstanding results. Paul has taught seminars for osteopathic students and practitioners for the past ten years as he believes in spreading the knowledge he has acquired over the years. He enjoys snow skiing here and in the USA and rides a fast motorcycle…

Thierry Bois


Thierry Bois qualified as an Osteopath in 1997, from RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology), which is one of the best Osteopathic schools in the world. He graduated with a double degree, a Bachelor of Osteopathy and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science). Thierry loves treating babies and children as he uses Cranial Osteopathy as his main way for treatment. He also incorporates some manipulation, massage and stretches as well as exercises in the treatment of adults. Thierry is also an ACC provider.

Shelley McCarthy

Practice Manager

Osteopathy Clinic in Hamilton
Shelley has worked for Natural Body Link for eight years now as the Practice Manager for the clinic. Shelley comes from a background working as an Sales Representative for Estee Lauder and Revlon before venturing on to become an health consultant in natural therapies on Hamilton Island in Australia. With an interest in natural therapies she later went on to study Aromatherapy where she enjoys creating her own products, utilising the beneficial uses of essential oils and plant botanicals.

Russell Gaddes


Russell Gaddes – BAppSc(Hum Biol) MOst is an Osteopath trained in New Zealand, gaining a Master of Osteopathy at Unitec in Auckland.

Russell enjoys the holistic healing and health approach that Osteopathy provides, and believes that the body has an innate ability to heal itself. He is interested in working with patients in all walks of life, who wish to be a participant in their own health. There are many styles of Osteopathic treatment available and Russell is able to apply the one most suited to the patient at hand, whether that is structural, functional, cranial, or a mixture.

Russell was raised in the farming community in both Waitetuna and TeAwamutu. He now lives in Raglan where he enjoys surfing, hiking, learning Te Reo and exploring the land.
