Fascia is the material that supports all structures inside your body. Blood vessels, nerves organs are supported by fascia. It permeates muscles and as it is fluid filled it aids movement and enables us to perform in sport and protects us from injury by stretching and then springing back to normal tension. However injury can result in fluid loss which can mean compression of blood vessels and lymphatic vessels which over time leads to a toxic tissue state that promotes inflammation and degenerative changes.
